Thank you for your recent suggestion regarding [Subject of suggestion].
While I wholeheartedly agree that adding [Material to add] would be better, it does not appear to be cost-effective to install [Machinery to install] at this time, and we do not have the funds in this years budget.
I will, however, send a representative to investigate the problem and I will ask for recommendations to solve it. If a serious problem is assessed, I will forward the recommendations to management, at which point a decision will be made.
The investigation and the drafting of recommendations will take approximately one week. In the meantime, if you have any suggestions or comments, forward them to me.
